Westhab offers many community programs, including assistance in finding housing and a jobs.
Employment Services prepares job seekers, often with significant obstacles to employment, for success in the job market. Programs include STRIVE job readiness and vocational training.
Westhab has been offering employment and training programs in Westchester County since 1996. Services are designed for those with limited academic skills and work experience.
Westhab currently owns and/or manages 1,000 units of affordable housing in Westchester County and New York City, including: multi-family rental; homeownership; shelters for families and singles; and supportive housing for disabled veterans, seniors, homeless families, people in recovery from addiction, people living with mental illness, and victims of domestic violence. While our portfolio is largely comprised of Westhab-developed and owned housing, we also provide property and facilities management services for affordable housing developed and owned by for-profits and by other non-profit companies. We have a long history of maintaining quality properties that are well integrated with their surroundings and we make every effort to be a responsive landlord and neighbor.

Westhab offers programs and services to those in enrolled in their programs and are also available to the public through Community Resource Centers in Yonkers (103 Elm Street) and Mount Vernon (49 East 3rd Street).
New in 2021: Westhab’s Project Connect is a 24/7 drop-in shelter located at 100 North Broadway (Yonkers) that provides food, showers and laundry. Connect with service providers are there from 8am-11am. For information call (914) 345-2800.
