The Culinary Tech Center offers a 6 month (600 hour) program in each of the areas below.  Each program includes a 100 hour “externship”.

Commercial Cooking Program   This course emphasizes “learning by doing” with special attention given to the practical side of commercial food preparation. Graduates of this program are fully prepared to fulfill many entry level, food service roles including: sous chef, garde manger, pantry person, short-order cook and line cook. All graduates of this program will be entitled to lifetime job placement assistance.  The full program flyer is located here.

Hotel Operations  This course addresses oral communications, literacy for the workplace, career development, front desk operations, hospitality law and security,  Using creative and flexible teaching methods, hands on training and repetition, instructions are able to meet each student’s individual learning needs. With the assistance of the job placement department, students learn how to develop resumes and build their interviewing skills to help them gain and maintain permanent employment.
